Status Yellow rain warning is in place for Meath

A Status Yellow rain warning is in place for Meath and Louth this evening (Saturday) with Met Éireann warning of spells of very heavy or thundery rain combined with saturated ground conditions.

The national forecaster says possible impacts include:

• Flooding

• Difficult travel conditions

• Disruption to outdoor events

The warning is in place from 8pm this evening (Saturday 28/10/2023 to 6am Sunday 29/10/2023)

This follows a similar weather warning for Carlow, Dublin, Kildare, Kilkenny, Wexford, Wicklow from 4pm today.
