Megan Ruby Walsh joins pianist McNamara and violinist Rafter for Christmas candlelight concert

When he was searching for a venue for his 'Chopin by Candlelight' concert in Navan in September, Frank McNamara was told by those supposedly in the know there was no appetite for classical music in Navan. Well, he was to prove that wrong, when he had to stop selling tickets for the concert in St Mary's Church of Ireland at around 250 seats, and could have sold 100 more.

Now, he returns to the venue with a festive treat, the next instalment in his Candlelight Classics series: 'Christmas Classics by Candlelight'. What makes this one even more special is the triumphant return of Navan native soprano Megan Ruby Walsh, after five years touring the world with 'Celtic Woman'.

Scheduled for Saturday 16th December, this musical spectacle promises an evening of enchantment and festive cheer as the soprano takes the stage alongside piano maestro McNamara and violin virtuoso, Patrick Rafter. Together, this trio of exceptionally talented musicians is set to weave a musical tapestry that will transport the audience to a world where the magic of Christmas comes alive through the harmonious blend of voice, piano keys, and violin strings.
