A second storm will hit Ireland just a day after Storm Isha.

Storm Jocelyn confirmed to arrive just a day after Storm Isha hit the country

As Storm Isha moves out, Storms Jocelyn makes it way toward Ireland with a yellow weather warning issued by Met Éireann for Meath tomorrow.

Strong and gusty southwest to west winds are forecast for Tuesday from 5pm until 2am on Wednesday, creating a risk of large waves along coastal paths, loose debris and difficult travelling conditions.

A status orange weather warning will be in place for Donegal, Galway and Mayo from 6pm Tuesday into the early hours of Wednesday. Severe and damaging gusts are expected during this period with the risk of fallen trees and damage to power lines.

A status yellow wind warning will be in place across the rest of the country.

There is a status yellow marine warning in place from 3am on Tuesday until the early hours of Wednesday for stormy weather, with winds expected to reach gale force 8 or strong gale force 9.

In Northern Ireland, a status yellow wind warning will remain in place for all counties until 12pm on Wednesday.
