Trim AC's ever popular 10 Mile Road Race to be run this Sunday

Trim AC will stage their annual Ten Mile Road Race next Sunday, 4th February at 12 noon.

The race will begin and end on the Oaktree Business Park and will take the runners in a single loop through Dunderry.

Since it started seven years ago the race has become a major race on the Irish athletics calandar.

This year the competition for places in the race was hot to say the least with 2,000 places sold out in about seven hours.

The popularity of the race is partly due to the fact the runners have a good course and partly to the fact the event is well-organised and efficiently run.

It is also staged early in the season when people can test their winter training or use it as a beginning for spring training.
