Referendum meeting in Navan tonight

An information night on the forthcoming referendum on the Family and Care amendments to the constitution will take place tonight (Monday 19th February) in the Ardboyne Hotel, Navan, County Meath at 7pm.

The event, which is organised by Cllr Yemi Adenuga, is aimed at providing those in attendance with information on:

- The importance of voting in this referendum.

- What you are being asked to vote on

- The legal effects of a YES or NO vote

- When and where to vote

"Over the last couple of weeks while canvassing and engaging with constituents, I have been asked questions about the referendum, with many unsure of what they are being asked to vote on, and others not even aware that a referendum is just a few weeks away," said Cllr Adenuga.

"This information evening will provide information on the referendum, and my guest speakers will be there to answer questions that attendees may have."
