Big turnout for fifth annual gathering of Healthy Club officers in Meath

Over sixty people, representing 44 GAA clubs in Meath, attended the 5th Annual Gathering of Healthy Club Officers in Dunganny last Monday evening.

The event was opened by James Kelly, Chair of Meath Health and Wellbeing Committee.

A new format this year involved foru separate workshops, where all present participated in each workshop. The workshops covered:

1, Sources of Funding;

2, Healthy Club initiatives;

3, Critical Incident Response Plans;

4, The Roles and Responsibilities of a Healthy Club Officer.

Cathaoirleach Coiste na Mhi Jason Plunkett also addressed the gathering.
