"As Chairman of the Athboy Development Forum, I see first hand the importance of communities being organized and the benefits of having a local voice. The ADF has benefited form over €500,000 in grants in the last five years, which has allowed the development of the Convent community Centre and St James Hall."
Speaking of his priorities for the future, he listed continuing to develop the facilities needed for the area, completing the anticipated bus stop, providing the solution to the parking issues that impact the area and future proofing the area for the needs of all its resident.
He wants to see the Athboy Public realm plan continue through the design phase, a proper playground solution, as well as traffic calming
