Hundreds of runners took part in Sunday's Wilkinstown 5K run organised by Yvonne Curtis to raise funds for Nobber Cancer Support Group .
Yvonne wanted to raise funds for this cause that is close to her heart having being diagnosed with breast cancer herself in December 2022 and also to raise funds for the local Wilkinstown Community Centre, which hosted the event.
There was a great atmosphere at the Wilkinstown Community Centre and park after the race where refreshments and entertainment were put on for the huge crowd that attended. The road race was very well supported and it is hoped it will become an annual event.
