Féile na bPáistí to host Midsummer Festival in Navan this weekend!

Féile na bPáistí, a community group based in Navan, is excited to announce its upcoming Midsummer Festival in the grounds of the LMETB, Railway Street on Sunday, 23rd June, 2024.

The event promises to be a vibrant celebration of music, poetry, and art, with a Makers' Market featuring local produce, arts, and crafts. The festival will also include a variety of street entertainment, storytelling, workshops for both adults and children, live music and poetry performances, have-a-go archery and a parade in the evening.

There will also be a raffle on the day with prizes being sponsored by the following local businesses: Pimentos Café, Well Bud Ink, Market Fresh, McCauley’s Pharmacy and more.

To kick off the festivities, the first hour will be dedicated to a sensory hour, catering to the needs of all attendees.

Féile na bPáistí was established in 2019 by a group of local community members and volunteers who share a passion for organizing markets, festivals, and parades in the town. Over the past few years, the group has successfully hosted several events, including Halloween festivals and parades and the successful St. Brigid's Festival in Cornmarket in February.

The Midsummer Festival will take place in the grounds of the LMETB offices on Railway Street, Navan, from 12pm to 6:30pm. With its unique blend of music, art, and community spirit, this event is sure to be a highlight of the summer calendar in the town.

"We are thrilled to bring this exciting event to Navan's Old Cornmarket," said Deirdre Gorman, spokesperson for Féile na bPáistí. "We believe that this festival will bring our community together and provide a fun and memorable experience for all attendees."
