Meath Swifties ready to Shake It Off in Dublin this weekend

Hundreds of Swifties are prepping the cowboy hats and sparkly sequins ahead of the arrival pop sensation, Taylor Swift who comes to Dublin this weekend for three sold out shows.

Dozens of coaches from the Royal County are on standby to ferry fans to see the Texan pop sensation's phenomenal global Eras Tour.

According to Joe Tierney from Tierney's Newsagents on Trimgate St, two buses will be travelling each day full of Taylor Swift fans from the Fair Green in Navan.

Donie Quinn coaches will be catering for 855 Swifties in total over the weekend with four coaches travelling on Friday and Sunday and eight coaches travelling on Saturday from The Stockhouse car park in Trim, according to Donie Quinn.

The last time Taylor fanatics took to Dublin was in 2018 for her Reputation world tour and demand to see the Bad Blood singer has never been higher.

Doors will open at 5pm and Swift is expected to hit the stage at 7.30pm. American rock band Paramore are the support act for Swift this weekend.

For those that are not Taylor Swift fans and were the unlucky ones not to get tickets will want a Getaway Car after hearing the screams and tears of happiness from fans inundated social media stories and posts over the weekend.

With the unpredictable Irish weather, rain jackets and ponchos (or a Cardigan) are always recommended but Met Éireann forecasts some outbreaks of showers and drizzle for Friday while Saturday and Sunday are looking dry with some sunny spells across Dublin.

The set list will include some favourites such as Lover, You Need To Calm Down, We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together and Delicate and some from her latest album, The Tortured Poets Department.

Suspicions arise over whether Taylor will revisit some Dublin pubs again but will the Slane restaurant, Inside Out, be lucky enough to get two legendary visits in the same week following the visit from the lead guitarist with Pearl Jam.

What fans felt like was a Fortnight away, is now only a day away when they will embark on their Wildest Dreams but are they Ready For It?
