A mixed bag weather wise over the next couple of days

Today, Saturday will be mostly dry with sunny spells developing towards evening. Any low cloud will gradually clear away through the morning with highs of 15 to 18 degrees in light to moderate northwest breezes expected.

There will be dry with clear spells overnight and just light northwesterly breezes. Lowest temperatures will hit between 8 and 11 degrees. Sunday will see a mostly dry day with some showers in Ulster, and showery rain arriving into Atlantic counties during the late afternoon.

Highest temperatures of 13 to 20 degrees, all in light to moderate westerly breezes. Meanwhile, scattered outbreaks of rain and showers will spread eastwards through the night. It will be mild with lowest temperatures of 11 to 13 degrees in light to moderate westerly breezes.

Elsewhere, cloudy conditions with outbreaks of rain and drizzle will give way to sunny spells and well-scattered showers on Monday. It will be breezy with moderate to fresh northwest winds. Highest temperatures of 13 to 20 degrees.

Overnight it will become mostly dry with light rain lingering in western and northwest parts and clear spells developing. Lowest temperatures of 9 to 12 degrees with moderate westerly breezes.
