Paris Olympics: Irish athletes in action on Day 10

After all the excitement over the weekend, Monday has a slightly less densely-packed schedule for Team Ireland.

Nine Irish athletes are in action today, including Rhasidat Adeleke's first appearance at the Games.

Here's the running order for the Irish athletes competing throughout the day and updates on how they fared...

9am: Diving (women's 10m platform, preliminary round) – Ciara McGing. 29th, failed to qualify for this afternoon's semi-final.

10.55am: Athletics (women's 400m, round 1) – Sophie Becker. Sixth in heat 1, goes to Tuesday's repechage round.

11.15am: Sailing (women's dinghy, race 9) – Eve McMahon. Seventh in race 9, putting her 13th overall.

11.27am: Athletics (women's 400m, round 1) – Sharlene Mawdsley. Fourth in heat 5, goes to Tuesday's repechage round.

11.35am: Athletics (women's 400m, round 1) – Rhasidat Adeleke. First in heat 6, qualified for Wednesday's semi-finals.

12.23pm:Eve McMahon wasn't as fortunate as poor weather today cancelled the final race of the women's event.

It means she ends up in 13th place with only the top 10 going through.

1pm: The Irish equestrian team has qualified two riders for the final of the individual showjumping event.

Shane Sweetnam and Daniel Coyle both booked their places in the final after clear rounds on board James Kann Cruz and Legacy respectively.

O'Connor and his horse Maurice scored 4 faults and finished in 33rd place.

1.40pm: Sailing (men's dinghy, race 9) – Finn Lynch has progressed to the final of the Men's Dinghy.

The Carlow man finished the opening 8 races in 10th position which qualifies him for tomorrow's medal race.
