Goals pave the way to a Dunderry victory

Dunderry 4-14

Dunshaughlin 3-3

Dunderry opened their Premier Championship Div 4 campaign with a good team performance, nine different scorers and a comfortable win over Dunshaughlin at home on Sunday morning.

A good first half paved the way for the win where Dunderry registered 1-10 scoring some nice points from distance and grabbing a goal through a rasping Jack Darcy shot.

Dunshaughlin gave themselves a lifeline in the second half with two quick goals but Dunderry had the answers with goals of their own from Darcy again and twice from Callum Bartley.

Dunderry travel to Ballinabrackey and Blackhall Gaels in the remaining group games hoping to clinch a knockout spot.
