Golden memories made at Horse Show 2024

Members of the Meath Pony Club performed brilliantly at the Horse Show when many golden memories were made.

After leading for 39 games out of 40 over the two days the Meath contingent were only pipped in the final game to finish second overall losing out by a single point.

Instead victory was secured by Shillelagh Pony Club and the Meath Pony Club extended congratulations to them on winning the Senior Mounted Games RDS 2024 title.

The Meath team consisted of Sadhbh Monaghan, Kentstown, Harriet and Grace Mangan, Gibbstown, Lauren and Daniel Callery, Kells and they were defending champions after winning the Hugh Leonard Cup in Ring 1 for the last two years.

Teams qualified for the RDS by competiting at several big shows around the country with the best six overall making it through.
