Gavin Cromwell opens stable doors to the public

A chance to see behind the scenes of one of Ireland's top training yards

This Sunday, Balrath-based racehorse trainer Gavin Cromwell will open his stable doors to offer racing fans and those interested in racehorse ownership, a unique opportunity to get behind the scenes and experience a working training yard.

The open morning will include a tour of the yard and the facilities, watching the racehorses on the gallop, meeting the team and a Q&A with Gavin.

Gavin has trained high-profile winners at most of Ireland’s and England’s leading jumps meetings and festivals including six Cheltenham Festival winners and he has also saddled two Royal Ascot winners. He employs approximately 40 people and supports various suppliers from his County Meath base, making a significant economic and social contribution to his local community and region.

Gavin’s open morning on Sunday 1st September between 10 am and 1 pm is free to attend and those who wish to come along are asked to register their interest in advance, at the HRI website.
