Leicester City's Kasey McAteer has received a first call-up to a Republic of Ireland squad in advance of the Nations League games against England and Greece.
McAteer makes his first Ireland squad having completed his paperwork and received FIFA international clearance.
New manager Heimir Hallgrimsson named a 23-man squad for the upcoming games, with Evan Ferguson and Seamus Coleman recovering from injury.
Chiedozie Ogbene and defender Nathan Collins also return having missed games back in June.
Jayson Molumby receives his first call-up since November 2023 after his foot injury ruled him out of international action this year.
Goalkeeper Gavin Bazunu remains a long-term absentee with an Achilles injury, with Caoimhin Kelleher likely to start in goal.
Josh Cullen is also absent from the squad, as Ireland only have five midfielders in the squad.
Ireland host England at the Aviva Stadium on Saturday September 7th at 5pm, before hosting Greece on Tuesday September 10th at 7.45pm.
