Big win by Meath Hill on their own patch

Meath Hill...2- 22

Kilbride....1-8

Mark Tully

Meath Hill welcomed Kilbride to north Meath on Tuesday evening for this Premier FC encounter.

Kilbride were unfortunate in the opening moments when one of their midfielders went down with a game-ending injury.

This would allow Meath Hill to take the lead through Ian Maloneand another soon after from Jake Gillen , a lead that Meath Hill would not relinquish.

The opening scores were shared around as Sean Owens and Mark Tully converted close-range frees. Malone and Kyle Martin would rub further salt in to the Kilbride wounds withwell taken scores.

A breakaway goal which was well finished would make the half-time score more palatable from a Kilbride perspective at Meath Hill 0-10 Kilbride 1-2.

The second-half would be a one-sided affair as the heavens opened and Meath Hill laidsiege to the Kilbride goal with the majority of the second half being played in the Kilbride half.

Goals would come in quick succession from Mark Tully and Dean Martin to allow Meath Hill to end the game as a contest. Kilbride still worked hard and five point accrued through their hard work and never say die attitude in the second half.

The biggest roar of the night was held for Conor Owens who made his comeback after avery serious injury.

Conor would account for two scores to keep the scoreboard ticking as he put in a frenetic 15 minutes where it seemed like he was everywhere.

A good result for Meath Hill who look next to Walterstown for the final group game.
