16-year-old Laynah Murphy and 14-year-old Caoimhe Quigley are both reported missing from Enfield, Co Meath, since Monday 2nd September 2024.

Gardai issue appeals to trace whereabouts of missing Meath teenagers

Gardaí are seeking the public's assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 16-year-old Laynah Murphy and 14-year-old Caoimhe Quigley, who are both reported missing from Enfield, Co Meath, since Monday 2nd September 2024.

Laynah and Caoimhe were last seen at approximately 5.40pm.

Laynah is described as being approximately 5 foot 5 inches in height, with a slim build, black hair and blue eyes.

Caoimhe is described as being approximately 5 foot 1 inch in height, with a slim build, red hair and blue eyes.

When Laynah went missing, she was wearing cream joggers, with a grey zip up top, and black and white runners.

When Caoimhe went missing, she was wearing a blue crop jumper, grey tracksuit bottoms, and white runners.

It is believed that Laynah and Caoimhe may have travelled to the Sligo or Dublin areas and may be travelling together, according to Gardai.

Caoimhe is also known to frequent the Rathcormac and Fermoy areas of Co Cork.
