Premier League

Liverpool manager Arne Slot has said his players won't feel extra pressure from sitting at the top of the Premier League.

A win over Crystal Palace at lunchtime could take them four points clear, with Manchester City and Arsenal not in action until later.

Kick off at Selhurst Park is at 12.30pm.

In team news, Cork man Caoimhin Kelleher is not in the Liverpool squad, while Cody Gakpo is in for Luis Diaz on the wing.

Later, Aaron Ramsdale returns to Arsenal with Southampton, the visitors to the Emirates at 3pm.

At the same time, Manchester City are looking to return to winning ways as they host Fulham.

Elsewhere, Ipswich visit West Ham, Leicester come up against Bournemouth and Brentford take on Wolves.

The final game of the day sees Newcastle travel to Everton at 5.30pm.

Women's Premier Division

Athlone could be crowned Women's Premier Division champions for the first time in their history later.

If Shelbourne fail to beat Peamount this afternoon, and Athlone beat Bohemians this evening, then the Midlanders can secure the first part of a potential double.

Galway United are still hoping for miracles themselves, and they go to Treaty United.

Wexford play Shamrock Rovers, and Cork City face Sligo Rovers.

RUGBY

Leinster are looking to get three wins in three in the URC this evening.

Ciaran Frawley has been named at number 10 for their trip to Benetton at 5.15pm.

Before that, Ulster's South African journey continues as they take on the Bulls from 3pm.

It is a 7.35pm start for Munster's fixture with Ospreys, which is expected to go ahead as planned, despite the weather warning.

Late tonight, Ireland's women will look to make it two wins from two in WXV1.

They play the number two ranked side in the world, and tournament hosts, Canada.
