Ratoath native Angela Scanlon to appear on Late Late Show tonight

Ratoath native Angela Scanlon is among the guests on tonight's Late Late Show.

Broadcaster, author, jewellery designer and self-described "messer" Scanlon will join host Patick Kielty to talk about stepping into Graham Norton's shoes on the radio, wowing Strictly audiences with her Argentine Tango and why she is lending her voice and support to a very important upcoming documentary on RTÉ One.

Joining the famous red head to have the chats with Patrick kielty will be comedian Dara Ó Briain and Ozzy legend Jason Donovan.

Television presenter Ó Briain will drop by to chat about his new show Re: Creation as well as his summer of sport and the one piece of music that's haunted him at every turn.

Galway hurler Joe Canning will be in studio as his new book My Story, with Vincent Hogan, is published.

Joe will be chatting to Patrick about life after intercounty hurling, reflecting on the highs and lows of his hurling career (five All Stars, one All Ireland, four Club All-Irelands), becoming a father, and the promise he has made to his nephews.

‍Aeronautical engineer Dr. Norah Patten joins Patrick to talk about her lifelong quest to become the first Irish person in space, and how this dream will soon become a reality.

Victim of coercive control, Nicola Hanney will sit down with Patrick on Friday night. Her new book, Stronger: What Didn’t Kill Me, Made Me is Nicola’s harrowing account of the abuse she suffered at the hands of her ex, former Garda Paul Moody, who is due for release from prison later this year.

Australian star Jason Donovan will also be on the show Friday night chatting about his time in Neighbours, being a teen icon of the 80s, reuniting on stage with Kylie, and going on tour next year to celebrate 35 years of hits on stage and screen as well as performing one of his chart-topping hits.

The Coronas will also perform a song from their new album Thoughts and Observations, which reached number one in the Irish charts this week, knocking Sabrina Carpenter’s Short n’ Sweet from the top.
