Cushinstown Athletic Club recently held a spirited fundraiser, bringing together members and supporters for an exciting two-hour relay race.
The event, designed to raise funds for new equipment and facility improvements, saw enthusiastic participation from club members, who donned creative Halloween costumes to add an element of fun and camaraderie.
With vibrant and scary costumes ranging from superheroes, vampires to inflatable Pikachu, participants showcased their team spirit while running.
The relay format not only fostered friendly competition but also encouraged teamwork and collaboration among club members of all ages.
“It was amazing to see everyone come together, not just for a good cause, but to have fun and support one another,” said one club coach. “The energy was infectious, and we are incredibly grateful for the community's support.”
Spectators gathered to cheer on our runners, creating an uplifting atmosphere that resonated throughout the event.
The success of this event marks a promising start to the club's fundraising efforts this year.
Plans for future events are already underway, with hopes to include more engaging activities that bring the community together.
