The iconic Palace Piano Bar in Navan, known for its vibrant atmosphere and exceptional live music, is set to celebrate its 20th birthday with an exciting lineup of events from Thursday 21st November through to Sunday 24th November. With four days of live music, DJs, games, and appreciation for their loyal patrons, the Palace Piano Bar is pulling out all the stops to mark this milestone.
The celebrations kick off on Thursday 21st November with a lively night of musical bingo starting at 9pm. This interactive game night promises a fun-filled evening with spot prizes and a thrilling jackpot worth over €500. Music lovers and bingo fans alike are invited to join in the excitement and kick off the festivities.
On Friday 22nd November, the Piano Bar takes a nostalgic trip back to its roots with an exclusive performance by renowned musician Dave Browne from Picture House on the piano, accompanied by a top-class drummer. Together, they’ll bring a high-energy blend of musical talent to the stage, followed by a DJ set that will keep the party going into the early hours.
Saturday 23rd offers something for everyone, with music across two floors. In The Piano Bar, DJ Kaff and a resident saxophone player will deliver an unforgettable mix of hits from the '70s to today. Meanwhile, upstairs in The Palace Venue, the legendary band Transmitter will take the stage at midnight, playing live into the late hours.
The weekend of festivities culminates on Sunday 24th November with a special Customer Appreciation Night. Guests can enjoy live music from The Toxic Trio in The Piano Bar, followed by a DJ set with DJ Kaff to wrap up a weekend of incredible entertainment.
Steeped in history, the Palace building itself has been a central part of the arts and entertainment scene in Navan for over a century. Originally opened as a cinema on 27th February 1914, The Palace has evolved over the decades, remaining a beloved gathering spot for the community. As the Palace Piano Bar celebrates its 20th anniversary, this weekend not only commemorates two decades of live music and entertainment but also honours The Palace’s longstanding cultural legacy in Navan and County Meath.
