Two new councillors to be co-opted on Wednesday

A Special Meeting of Meath County Council will be held on Wednesday next ( 16th December) to co-opt two new councillors to replace Gillian Toole, the new Independent TD for Meath East and Fianna Fail's Aisling Dempsey , the newly elected Meath West TD.

The Fianna Fail party will select a new councillor to replace Aisling Dempsey, while Gillian Toole would have already have nominated a replacement when elected as an independent councillor.
