Appeal to help locate missing Cavan man

Gardaí are seeking the public's assistance in tracing the whereabouts of a Cavan man who has been missing since Monday, December 30.

Fifty-one-year-old Brendan Gilsenan is reported as missing from his home in Tullyco.

Brendan is described as being approximately 5 foot 7 inches in height, with broad build, dark brown hair and brown eyes. He left his home at approximately 8:30am and was travelling in a 161CN registered blue Opel Combi van.

Laragh United GAA are amongst those who have shared a post on social media appealing for information on Brendan's whereabouts, saying he was seen driving in the direction of Navan.
