Time to pick a new Rose for Meath as Lane hands over her sash
The countdown is officially on to find the 2025 Meath Rose.
The Meath Rose Centre is inviting young women from across the county to seize the opportunity to represent the Royal County in the internationally renowned Rose of Tralee Festival this August.
The highly anticipated Meath Rose Selection Night will take place on Saturday, 1st February 2025, at Knightsbrook Hotel. It promises to be an unforgettable evening as the 2023 Meath Rose, Lane Galvin prepares to hand over her sash and welcome her successor who will carry the county’s pride and spirit to the world stage.
“Do you or someone you know embody the values and charm of the Meath Rose? This is the moment to step forward!,” reads the application statement.
“Applications to be considered for the coveted title are closing soon so don't miss this once-in-a-lifetime experience, where memories, friendships, and opportunities flourish. This is your chance to shine!”
In November, the Knightsbrook Hotel hosted a spectacular evening for the Meath Rose selection launch event. Current Meath Rose, Lane Gavin was in attendance alongside the 2024 International Rose, Keely O’Grady, and Meath Rose Centre Coordinators Lyn Maloney and Clodagh Murray, as well as Director of Operations Steve Cronley who was accompanied by two of the 2024 International Rose Escorts, Niall Devlin and Paddy Peters, who added to the evening’s charm.
