Navan's Wisniewski makes Ireland Six Nations u-20 debut

Ireland u-20's side were defeated by England last night in Cork

Navan-born rugby player, Sam Wisniewski last night made his u-20 six nations debut for Ireland at fly-half. Unfortunately for Irish supporters, England were comfortable 19-3 winners in the first match of the campaign.

Wisniewski was raised in Navan and played for underage rugby at Balreask Old for Navan RFC. He attended Castleknock College and he played rugby for the Dublin secondary school as a teenager.

Wisniewski was part of the Ireland rugby u-19 panel last year and played alongside James Wyse who is playing in the front row for Navan RFC this season. Wiesniewski is currently playing his club rugby for Belvedere RFC.

Following their opening-round defeat, the Ireland u-20 side will be playing away next Saturday evening against Scotland.
