2023 Meath Chronicle Hall of Famer set to lead minors into battle

The former senior hurling and camogie boss will be in charge of the Meath minor camogie side this weekend against Armagh.

The 2023 Meath Chronicle Hall of Fame recipient, John Davis has taken over the Meath minor camogie team ahead of their opening All Ireland 'B' fixture against Armagh this Sunday.

Davis takes over from Ray Delaney who parted ways with the side in early January.

The former senior Meath hurling and Meath camogie boss was in charge for the minor side's two-point defeat to Westmeath in the Leinster semi-final last Monday.

Davis guided the Meath hurlers to an All-Ireland B title in 1993. His Meath side also stunned the then-current All-Ireland champions Offaly in a National Hurling League fixture.

Davis' Meath minor side will play Armagh at 2pm on Sunday at Collegeland O'Rahilly's GAC.
