Ray Crinion Memorial set to kick off cycling season

The first cycling sportive of the new year will take place on Sunday 16th February when Trim Cycling Club hosts the annual Ray Crinion Memorial Cycle from 9am.
This cycle has always proved to be a hugely popular event and the 300 cyclists are expected to depart from Trim GAA club from 10am after their 9am sign-in.
This year the route of the cycle will take a different course with the famed Hill of Tara very much part of the track.
There will be three routes to choose from to cater for all levels and abilities including 40K, 60K and 90K courses.
Entry for the 40k route is €20, while entry for the 60k and 90k cycles is €25 and all funds go to local charities.
Registration is online at www.eventmaster.ie and the route will be marshalled with a lead car, broom van and ambulance cover. Refreshments will also be served afterwards.
