Kilmessan maintained their unbeaten start to the year with a narrow Brendan Davis Cup win over Jubilee Cup champions Ratoath. Kilmessan laid the platform for victory with a strong first-half showing as Shane Brennan's goal boosted them to a 1-10 to 0-6 interval lead. Ratoath improved after the break as Kilmessan emptied their bench, but the win was already secured.

A late converted free denied Dunderry a surprise draw with Kildalkey in the Brendan Davis Cup. Cathal Barron made an impressive impact in his adult debut for Dunderry as Adam Kebbly's goal gave the underdogs a 1-7 to 0-9 interval lead. Dunderry stayed in touch until Kildalkey netted to open up a 1-13 to 1-10 lead. However with Evan Nolan showing amazing accuracy Dunderry got back on level terms before Kildalkey struck a late, late winner.

The concession of three consecutive second-half goals proved to be decisive as St Patrick's recovered from a 0-6 to 1-8 interval deficit to claim the spoils in the Billy Byrne Cup.
