HoloToyz joins forces with Barbie and Hot Wheels

Tara company's success at Nuremberg Toy Fair

Tara-based toy company, HoloToyz, has announced an exciting new partnership with Mattel, the owner of one of the most iconic brand portfolios in the world, bringing Barbie and Hot Wheels further into the new era of Augmented Reality (AR) play.

This collaboration marks a major milestone for HoloToyz, following the incredible success of the Barbie movie and Mattel’s continued innovation in the toy industry.

This exciting news comes following the Spielwarenmesse toy fair in Nuremberg, Germany, where Mattel was also celebrating its 80th anniversary.

In a world-first, HoloToyz will launch an AR Fashion Dress-Up Barbie Set, allowing kids to dress Barbie in a selection of magnetic outfits and watch the doll come to life in 3D animation, wearing the exact outfit they chose. With a simple tap, children can place a fully animated Barbie in their room, interact and even take photos and videos beside her — bridging the gap between physical and digital play like never before.

The Barbie range will also include a 4-in-1 AR jigsaw puzzle, as well as a stunning collection of temporary tattoos and stickers, all of which spring to life with the magic of HoloToyz’ AR technology.

HoloToyz is equally ecstatic to bring Hot Wheels into this revolutionary play experience. The Hot Wheels AR range will feature magnetic cubes, jigsaw puzzles, tattoos, and stickers, all designed to immerse kids in a high-speed, interactive adventure.

“We are so proud to collaborate with Mattel on such an iconic project,” said Kate Scott, CEO and founder of HoloToyz. “Bringing Barbie and Hot Wheels to life through AR is a dream come true for us, and we can’t wait for kids to experience the magic of our technology.”

As part of HoloToyz' commitment to sustainability, eco-friendly materials will be used across the product range, ensuring innovation is met with responsibility.

This partnership cements HoloToyz’ place at the forefront of AR-powered play, delivering immersive and interactive experiences that redefine how children engage with their favourite characters.
