Winter League

Saturday Section 2 North: Meath faced Bray in the semi-finals of the Winter League on Saturday. The match was played at the neutral Greenhills venue and resulted in a comprehensive win for Bray (48-29). Despite their disappointment Meath were happy to reach the knockout stages and look forward to a successful summer campaign. Winter League Champion of Champions: Meath's Ricky Byrne beat Nigel Daly (Railway Union) 21-16 at home and is through to the final where he will face Sean Tracey (North Kildare) at Greenhills on Saturday at 1pm.
