Disneyland dream comes true for young dancers based in Kells...but they could do with your help!

Fifteen talented young dancers from Dance Mania Dance Studios based in Kells under the guidance of their dedicated teacher Chantelle Quigley, are set to represent their studio at Disneyland Paris this October.

The girls will have the incredible opportunity to perform on the Performing Arts Stage in Disneyland Park – a dream come true for any young performer.

In preparation for this once-in-a-lifetime experience, the Dance Mania Crew has been working hard to fundraise to make their dream a reality. A GoFundMe page has been launched and shared widely across all social media platforms, and the girls have also been reaching out to local businesses for support. “They would like to extend a heartfelt Thank You to all the businesses and individuals who have so generously donated so far,” said Chantelle.

Upcoming fundraiser events include a Clothing Collection on 3rd May, where the group hopes to gather as many bags of pre-loved clothes as possible. Collection services in the area are also possible for anyone wishing to donate but unable to drop bags to the studio.

The girls will also be out in force at Nobber Fair Day on 18th May, where they will sell their beautifully handcrafted bracelets and showcase their amazing talents.

With many more exciting fundraising events planned for the coming months, which will be advertised on all social media platforms, the Dance Mania dancers are looking forward to meeting and performing for their community before they head off to Disneyland to represent their studio, their towns and villages (Kells, Carlanstown, Cortown, Lobinstown, Mullagh, Moynalty and Crossakiel) with pride.

The Dance Mania Crew consists of; Isobelle Mulholland, Lucy Jarrett, Caoimhe Traynor, Shannen Elliott Thompson, Shona Elliott Thompson, Eimear Dunne, Muireann Gilsenan, Ava O’Brien, Casey Farrell, Colleen Tevlin, Eilish Tevlin, Erin Wiersema, Priya Murphy, Lucy Rourke and Aisling Olwill.
