Brand-new Halloween adventure at Rockfield House
Only a bones-throw from Kells, 'Ghosts of the Manor at Rockfield House' is a brand-new Halloween adventure brought to you by the wonderful scare actors of Farmaphobia at Causey Farm.
You will get to meet some real “live” spooky characters from bygone days – all of whom have a sorry, and sometimes hilarious tale to tell of their demise.
Normally reserved for relaxing country house celebrations and luxury accommodation, at this time of year, Rockfield House sees the souls of its dead return. From the obsequious butler, the cheery cook, the mournful maid, the frantic and forgetful Lady of the Manor, to her impish daughter and rambunctious nephew, a range of phantomlike characters awaits as you wend your way through the wonderful period house, stables and basements.
The ghostly hosts want to tell you all about their troubles which have somehow followed them into the next life! Some will welcome you warmly but some have a cautionary tale to tell. Be prepared for a bit of “spirited” interaction and quarrelsome communication from the other side!
This atmospheric event, open for booking on www.rockfieldhouse.com , will run from 27th to 31st October and is suitable for anyone who likes being scared, but not out of their wits! (adults and families with children aged nine or older).
Tickets are €16.50 each with €1 discount pp for groups of 10 or over.
After your other-worldly encounters, you will be more than ready for refreshments in the Harvest Hall.
