With Christmas quickly approaching, the pressure is on for gift shoppers. It isn't getting any easier to think of the 'perfect' gift for all our loved ones.

With several creative vendors on offer, you're bound to find something for everyone on your list. Better yet, it's all local!

Sonairte, the interactive visitor centre are "thrilled" to be bringing back their Christmas market this year. The long hall, courtyard and yoga room will be packed with a dazzling array of fantastic handmade arts and crafts from near and far. If you are looking for great gift ideas then look no further they have great items that will make everyone's Christmas wishes comes true! The market will take place this Saturday (25th November) from 10am-4pm. Kick off this festive season with a day filled with lots of lovely crafts, foods, gifts, kiddies’ activities, and plenty of Christmas cheer!

Also kicking off this Saturday is Oldbridge's Christmas Fair. With incredible crafts, tasty food and festive music in the beautiful setting of Oldbridge House and Gardens, they promise to get you "in the festive spirit". What better way to start your Christmas shopping than supporting local craft makers and food producers? This market will take place on both Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 4pm. You won't want to miss out!

Leinster Horse and Pony Rescue are hosting a Christmas fair this Sunday (26th November) in Trim with over 45 stalls and vendors. They're inviting all to "come down grab a coffee and a freshly baked cake - pick up a gift or two from the over 45 stalls that will be in attendance and let the kiddies have a go on the bucking reindeer or merry go round". All proceeds will go towards the worthy charity Leinster Horse and Pony Rescue. This fair will take place from 11am-5pm at the Boyne Community School.

Dunshaughlin Community Centre's Christmas Fair is returning this Sunday, 26th November. Aj Craft's (Ratoath based business specialising in handmade wreaths, garlands and table decor), Memory Lane Frames By Sadhbh (Dunshaughlin based brand that makes occassion gifts made with pebbles/sea glass and leather) and Helena Gilhooly of BusyBeaders (handmade jewellery) are among the exciting, talented vendors at the fair. With so much on offer you will find the perfect gift. The fair will take place from 12pm-5.30pm and better yet Santa will be there!

The Solstice Christmas Fair returns this December with a wonderful variety of local vendors. With a great selection of high-quality crafts, this is the perfect chance to pick up a unique Christmas gift for someone special! The fair will take place at The Solstice Arts Centre on Saturday 2nd December from 10am–4pm. Hyland Handcrafts (Navan vendor with a love for hand crafting unique pieces), Rain and Wild (Navan candle maker), LUS Aromatherapy (Local cosmetics vendor) and Simply by Colm (Ardee based business specialising in handmade jewellery) are among the list of exciting vendors at the Christmas fair. A Christmas Craft and Gift Fair will take place in the Ardboyne Hotel, Navan on 10th December with many creative local vendors showcasing their amazing products. Taylor Marie Creations (Meath based vendor selling luxury handmade wax melts, diffusers, bath bombs, etc), Evolve Herbal Clinic (Dunshaughlin based business offering beautiful gifts, stocking fillers and herbal remedies) and Leah Holistic (Navan based business specialising in handmade candles) are just some of the exciting vendors you can expect to see. The fair will take place from 11am-5pm.

Claremont Stadium's annual Christmas Food and Craft Fair is back next month on Sunday 10th December. With over 30 stalls filled with ideal gift ideas for this festive season, you're bound to find the perfect last minute gift. Make sure to drop down between 3-5pm!

Deerpark Community Hub's Christmas Craft and Gift Fair will be full of crafts and gifts that you are guaranteed to not leave empty handed! Visit them for a warm welcome along with some tea, coffee and mulled wine. This fair takes place on 10th December in Carlanstown from 10am-4pm.

Slane Castle's popular Christmas market is back this year with the ground floor of the Castle filled to capacity with gorgeous craft and gift stalls. Food stalls, piping hot festive drinks and Christmas carols will also take over the Castle Courtyard. Sophie Hunter Millinery (Drogheda based milner specialising in handmade hats, fascinators and hair accessories), Emma Ryan Designs (Meath-based artist, specialising in original acrylic paintings) and Mark Jenkinson - Cider Mill (cidermaker who produces premium craft cider on his historic farm just outside Slane) are among the local vendors who will attend the market. The market is on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th December from 11am-4pm.
