Meath Macra's annual tractor run returns this Saturday raising funds for SOSAD and Embrace FARM.

The Parade of Light Charity Tractor Run begins at 6am with the participants driving through the darkness into the light, to raise funds for the two worthy charities.

Tractors, trucks and classic cars are welcome to take part in the parade and are to meet at Park Rí, Kells Saturday morning. A donation of €20 per participant is suggested.

A raffle will also be held on the day, with prizes from local businesses, contractors and organisations such as Tirlán Country Life Athboy, McNamara Feeds, Drummonds, Carnaross Inn and many more.

All proceeds will support the charities Save Our Sons And Daughters (SOSAD) who work to raise awareness and help prevent suicide in Ireland, and Embrace FARM who provide a caring and supportive Network for all those affected by Farm Accidents in Ireland.

Meath Macra is home to 9 clubs from all across Meath, the Blue Jean Country Queen Festival, National Talent Competition and 2017 Macra Conference.
