Road closures in place in Dunboyne ahead of State funeral of John Bruton

Temporary road closures are in place in Dunboyne to facilitate the State funeral of former Taoiseach, John Bruton this evening and tomorrow.

On the instructions of An Garda Siochana, the road to the St Peter and Paul Church entrance, the L-5112 will be closed from both its junctions with the L-2228 from 10:00am on Friday 9th February 2024 to 4pm Saturday 10th February 2024.

Meath County Council intends to temporarily close the L-2221 in the townlands of Dunboyne, Castlefarm, Rush, Ellickstown & Clonee, County Meath from its junction with the L-2228 (Station Road) to its junction with the L-2222 (Stirling Road) from 12 noon on Saturday 10th February 2024 to 5:00pm Saturday 10th February 2024.
