Meath team announced for Kerry clash on Sunday

The Royals will be hopeful of picking up a victory in Tralee

The Meath senior hurling manager Seoirse Bulfin has named the team that will face Kerry in Round Three of the Hurling League Division 2A on Sunday in Austin Stack Park Tralee.

There are three changes from the side that started in the defeat at the hands of Carlow two weeks ago. Seanie Geraghty comes in to replace Micky Burke at cornerback. Daire Shine replaces Ratoath's Niall McLarnan at wingback and Kris Gorman starts in midfield in place of Paul Kelly. Despite concerns over a knock that he picked up in the Carlow clash, Trim's James Murray has been named in the starting 15.

Meath will be hopeful of claiming a rare away win over the kingdom. So far both sides have fallen to a heavy defeat against the talented Carlow. However, unlike Kerry, The Royals do have a win on the board following their opening-round victory over Kildare. The game throws in at 1 pm.
