Athboy Bernese Mountain Dog ready for the world famous Crufts

A Bernese Mountain Dog from Athboy has secured her place at world-famous Crufts dog show in the NEC Birmingham this weekend.

Alma McClorey from Athboy who competes under the kennel name Meath Bernese is taking part in Crufts for the very first time. New to showing dogs this is a great achievement for Alma and Ruby to take part in this prestigious event.

Her 11 month old puppy Ruby has won a number of dog shows over the past year and qualified for Crufts at the Belfast Championship Show last September so they have been busy with training and practice since.
