Trish along with her daughters, Ruth Flanagan and Sharon London held a pre-loved ladies fashion show and pop up shop in aid of the Irish Cancer Society in The Headfort Hotel in Kells on Sunday April 28th.

Another pre loved fashion show is on the way for Kells following event's success!

A brave cancer survivor who held a pre loved ladies fashion show and pop up shop for charity last week is planning to host another event later this year such was its success.

Trish Mulvaney from Bohermeen along with her daughters, Ruth Flanagan and Sharon London organised the event that took place in The Headfort Hotel in Kells on Sunday, April 28th in aid of the Irish Cancer Society.

Trish received a shock diagnosis in 2021 after a routine mammogram revealed that she had breast cancer.

Luckily, the Bohermeen woman was diagnosed in the early stages of the disease and made a good recovery following surgery and treatment. Now she is urging women to keep their mammogram appointments as it could save their life.

Feeling grateful to have beaten the disease and to be in good health, Trish wanted to give something back to the charity that does so much for those affected by cancer. The Stylish lady also wanted to create awareness around sustainable fashion and going by the feedback from last month's event, she succeeded in doing both!

"It was an absolutely fabulous day," said Trish.

"We were blown away by how many people turned up and the interest in the event as a whole, it was incredible" she added.

"We couldn't get over the amazing outfits that people had for sale, from high end designer to high street, there was everything you could think of and at a fraction of the original price.

"I got a Victoria Beckham dress myself and I'm absolutely thrilled with it.

"Ladies, young and old came along and made a day out of it in the Headfort.

"We haven't tallied up the final amount raised yet but it is in the thousands which is fantastic."

Trish will be at the Teltown House Car Boot Sale this Sunday May 5th where she will have a selection of ladies pre loved clothing for sale, with all profits going to the Irish Cancer Society.
