Go Native in the running

Noel Meade's Nass winner Go Native is one of 30 contenders for the opening race of the Cheltenham Festival next Tuesday, the Supreme Novices Hurdle. Meade is currently in hospital and told the Meath Chronicle this week that he is likely to miss the big racing festival. Opposing Go Native are the likes of Cousin Vinny, which may opt for the Ballymore Properties Hurdle on Wednesday, Kempes and Mikael D'Haguenet. David Pipe's Torphichen is one of four possibles along with Mr Thriller, Leo's Lucky Star and Ruthenoise. Red Moloney, Micheal Flips and Ainama have all stood their ground. Gone from the line-up at this stage are Mad Max, Master Of Arts and Karabak - which all have alternative races to aim for
