Trim Town set to host Tommy Tournament

Trim Town's 'Tommy Tournament' is back with a bang this year following the success of last year's event held at the club's grounds on the Longwood Road.

This year the tournament, hosted by Trim Town, will see the competition spread out across three dates - June 3rd, 8th and 9th, with clubs travelling from across Leinster to compete for the esteemed trophies of which fur new ones have been added.

The Tommy Tournament, established in 2023, commemorates the lives of two proud young Trim men - Thomas Winters and Thomas Farrell who sadly passed away in recent years.

The event at the clubs superbly redeveloped facilities promises to be a great day out, with funds to be donated to SOSAD Navan, a charity offering free counselling sessions to those struggling with their mental health.

The Trim Town FC committee are extremely proud and passionate to bring together the people of Trim to celebrate sport, local businesses and community spirit and invite everyone to attend from 9.30am at the Longwood Road on each date to cheer on the participating teams.

The club extend their thanks to the tournaments' main sponsor, Nally's Supervalu Trim for their continued support.

The schedule of games are:

3rd June: U-12 Thomas Farrell Cup; U-12 Sean Corrigan Shield.

8th June: U-10 Charlie O'Brien Cup; U-10 Costello & McGee Shield

9th June: U-11 Thomas Winters Cup; U-11 James Lynch Shield.
