Funds granted to upgrade lighting at Dunganny

In what is a significant boost for Meath GAA a total of €329,386 has been granted from the Community Sports and Facilities Fund for the LED light upgrade at Dunganny it has been announced.

"This is a significant achievement and will greatly enhance the facility for our players and games," said Co Committee chairman Jason Plunkett.

"I would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Ciarán Flynn (Co Committee secretary) for his professional and diligent efforts in submitting the successful application," added Plunkett.

"His attention to detail and thorough approach played a key role in securing this vital funding.

"A special thanks to Minister Thomas Byrne T.D. for his assistance and meeting me on several occasions during this process."
