Opportunity knocks... Careers Expo event for Navan

The County Meath Chambers Careers Expo will take place in the Ardboyne Hotel. Navan on Wednesday 9th October from 12pm-7pm.

The Meath Careers Expo will highlight hundreds of employment opportunities from some of the leading employers in the Mid and North East Regions. Those attending can meet employers face to face and avail of career advice and support with your CV from professional career coaches.

Michael Hughes, Chairperson of County Meath Chamber said; "Recruitment and retention of staff remains a key concern for our members. Many are planning to increase their employee numbers over the next 12 months. Meath County Council’s commuter survey shows that a staggering 45,000 residents of Meath commute out of the county for work. The Meath Careers Expo is a targeted response, organised to connect those interested in working closer to home with local employers who have job vacancies at present.

"Providing quality employment close to home delivers sustainable employment with enhanced quality of life for employees and their families.

Cllr Suzanne Jamal, Leas Cathaoirleach of Meath County Council said; “The Meath Careers Expo provides the time and space to consider all options, talk to a wide variety of employers and hear different perspectives. All of this is invaluable in helping attendees make far-reaching and impactful decisions.”
