The monthly table quiz in Floods on Athboy took place last Thursday night, with the long running event reaching a very special milestone in raising €200,000 for local causes.
What started off as a one-off fundraiser that raised €1,400 for a local charity in 2012 has evolved into the ‘monster table-quiz’ it is today and Thursday’s quiz, in honour of Athboy High Nelly Club complete with 'Mad Hat' theme, was the 168th instalment of the popular quiz.
