Busy night for fire service
Meath Fire and Rescue Services had a busy night last night (Halloween), attending to 22 call outs between 4pm and midnight.
A spokesperson said the the majority of the call outs were in the Navan area, but they had calls from across the county, but none of the incidents were too serious.
Meanwhile Drogheda Fire Brigade attended a house fire in Duleek, where a firework had started a fire on a roof. It is believed there was minimal damage to the building.
Gardai reported a relatively quiet night in Meath. While they received a number of calls regarding fireworks and other minor incidents, there were no major incidents.
