Snugglepuff the Polar Bear brings a flurry of snow to Enchanted Kingdom at Slane Castle
A new visitor has arrived to the all-new Enchanted Kingdom at Slane Castle in a flurry of snow and he is bringing lots of excitement and magical moments for families and friends on the steps of the iconic Slane Castle.
Snugglepuff the Polar Bear who has perched himself at the main castle door is getting a lot of attention from visitors who are keen to get a picture with the arctic animal as they are immersed in a fun snow flurry.
Visitors have flocked to Slane from all over the country since mid November to step through the magic portal of The Enchanted Kingdom and be met with talking trees, magical creatures of ice and fire moving through the grounds, sculptures of ice and a multidimensional parallel world of art and magic.
The Enchanted Kingdom is a walk of approximately one kilometre with immersive light and sound installations using 3D sound mapping, targeted projection technology, ingenious special effects, interactive lighting design and custom-built structures.There are bioluminescent creatures with a dreamlike quality and breathtaking new experiences with exhilarating special effects including a spectacular light show as Slane Castle crystallises before your eyes. It is family friendly, accessible for wheelchairs and buggies and people of all ages and abilities and is only 40 minutes from Dublin with free parking. The Enchanted Kingdom is also helping to raise funds and awareness for Special Hands, an activity group dedicated to improving the lives of children and young adults with additional needs.
Slane Castle, with over 300 years of stories, is one of the most exciting locations in Ireland from its rich and noble history to the Rock Concerts introduced by Lord Henry Mount Charles starring the most famous acts in the world such as U2, The Rolling Stones, Queen, Bruce Springsteen, Guns ‘N Roses and many more, Slane Castle has a magic all of its own. Alex Conyngham, Earl of Mount Charles now lives in the castle with his wife, Carina Conyngham, Countess of Mount Charles, and their children. Now this iconic location has been reimagined for a brand-new experience that can be enjoyed by visitors of all ages and abilities.
