Temporary closure of L3400-0 Boyne Road to facilitate watermain works

Proposed Temporary Closure of L3400-0 Boyne Road, Navan, Co. Meath

Meath County Council intends to temporarily close L3400-0 Boyne Road, Navan, Co. Meath from its junction with R153 to its junction with L50521 Haystown.

The proposed closure will be from 8am on Monday 3 February to 8pm on Friday 28 February 2025 for a 2-day period within this window.

This road closure is required to facilitate the installation of new infrastructure (Duleek to Navan Trunk Main Pipeline Project) on behalf of Uisce Éireann.

Alternative Routes

Eastbound: At L3400/R153 junction take R153 Kentstown Rd to its junction with L1013 at Mooretown, turn left onto L1013 Dean Hill Road and continue to its junction with L50521 at Dean Hill Cross, turn left onto L50521 and continue to Boyne Rd.

Westbound: At L3400/L50521 Haystown junction take L50521 eastbound to its junction with L1013 at Dean Hill, turn right onto L1013 and continue to R153 Kentstown Rd junction, continue to Boyne Rd L3400 junction.

Diversion and information signage will be in place. Access for residents and property holders will be facilitated throughout the closure period.
