Fixtures confirmed for GAA cup competitions
Hot on the heels of the release of their master fixtures plan for 2025, Meath GAA revealed the fixtures for the cup competitions with action scheduled to get underway from Thursday 6th February.
The last two winners of the Feis Cup, Donaghmore/Ashbourne and Gaeil Colmcille will clash in the opening round of this year's competition at 12pm on Saturday 8th February with the 2023 winners having home advantage in Grangegodden.
Meath Hill will embark on their first Feis Cup campaign as a senior club with a home game against last year's SFC finalists Wolfe Tones on the Saturday. While Keegan Cup winners Dunshaughlin, who have yet to appoint a replacement for outgoing manager Richie Kealy, will travel to take on Rathkenny on Sunday 9th February. While most of the second round games will be the weekend of the 15th February, Meath Hill will have a mammoth 160km round trip to face Ballinabrackey in round two of the Feis Cup on Saturday 22nd February.
The third and final round of games will be played on weekend of 1st March.
The Reserve Cup competitions will start on Tuesday 11th February, while the newly established u-19 FL will start on 7th February with 27 teams competing across eight groups. Below are the first round fixtures for the adult cup competitions.
