Meath students celebrated by Maynooth University with entrance scholarships

Former Scoil Mhuire, Trim student, Laura Doyle, (BA Psychology), with Professor Eeva Leinonen.Leaving Certificate achievements of six Meath students have been acknowledged and celebrated by Maynooth University (MU) in their entrance scholarships. The students are among over 70 MU entrance scholars who achieved 575 points or more in their Leaving Certificate examinations. The €1,000 entrance scholarship is awarded to incoming first year students, via the CAO.
President of Maynooth University, Professor Eeva Leinonen, presented each scholar with a bespoke piece of crystal, in recognition of their achievement, during the awards ceremony on campus. School representatives were presented with a plaque. Family members and guests were treated to an evening of music and refreshments. Maynooth University Open Days take place on Saturday 12th April and 28th June 2025. Free buses are running to the Open Day on Saturday. See www.mu.ie/opendays.
