Irene shows great patience to scoop €55,000
A Meath mother went on a €55,000 Winning Streak when she appeared on the National Lottery Winning Streak game show on RTÉ One last Saturday
Irene Byrne was the second highest winner on the night after she scooped a whopping €50,000 on the game 'Patience' before she added another €5,000 to her total in the player share game. Irene, who is living in Ashbourne, admitted that she doesn’t surprise very easily but was speechless when she got a call from her brother-in-law to tell her that her name had been drawn for last Friday's Winning Streak. Irene is originally from Finglas in Dublin and moved down to Ashbourne with her husband Tony 26 years ago. The couple have been married for 32 years and have three daughters: Alison, Aimee and Leah.
